I have observed the same. The indicated by the 850 is almost 5 degrees above the right temperature. I have tested with and without a Garmin Tempe ant+ sensor. May be there is a design issue with the Edge 850. I mean its thermal sensot is may be too close to the main processor that can be warm/hot. Regards
