Edge 850 does not recognize Varia 515

I purchased an Edge 850 and transferred my SRAM sensors from my Edge 840. All the SRAM sensors as well as the Wahoo and Garmin HR sensors transferred fine, but the Garmin Varia 515 stays invisible to the Edge 850.

All firmware current (both on the 850 and the Varia 515). Garmin 840 powered off while trying to pair with the Varia 515.

What is it that I am missing in getting the 850 and the 515 to connect. The Varia 515 with the Edge 840 has been pretty rock solid.

You need to go through the pairing process again for any lights on a new unit.

Oh yes, have attempted re-pairing as well as reimporting sensors from the Garmin 840 a few times to no avail. It’s almost like the Varia 515 is not compatible with the Edge 850 which seems hard to believe.

I have the Varia 515 and the 850 and they work fine. The light and radar don't import from the sensors from the old computer. If you put the light in pairing mode, the 850 will pick it up.

Thank you... I needed the reminder to RTFM, and that did the trick. I don't remember pairing mode from the first time I paired it with the Garmin 840. The steps are fairly specific and different from pairing SRAM or HR monitors.
