2.4/5Ghz wifi support

Can the new Edge 850 deal reliably with 5Ghz wifi networks? With Dual Band 2.4/5Ghz networks? Or are we still required to set up a 2.4Ghz only network for Garmin devices?

For the bigger updates like the maps I had to download the Garmin software on my PC and connect my Edge 850 to my PC to get the map updates faster.

This is a big issue especially when you want to download maps over WiFi.

It only supports 2.4Ghz. Best bet for map updates is to use Garmin Express with the Edge connected to a PC.

On the Edge connected to the Wifi it was going to take 8 hours, but Edge 850 connected to my PC using USB-C cable, the big map update (19GB) was done in about 45mins.
