I am wondering when is the correct time to calibrate my power meter through my computer. I do it at least 10 minutes into my ride.

It depends on the PM, but usually it's best to do it when it has equilibrated to the temperature you'll be riding in. Many are self calibrating nowadays so it's not really typically necessary. I don't bother calibrating any of mine.
