I bought the 840 a few months ago, and I have been having various 'issues' with it, which may be sorted by 'asking the question'!
First up, ClimbPro.
I do like this, however.... When using the 840 to navigate, ClimbPro works correctly, and there is no map obscuring half the screen (I checked the appropriate box in the Map screen menu). When in non-navigate mode, however, the map is present and covers half the screen (including two data fields at the top). Can this be removed?
Also, can the relevant notifications, such as 'Climb' and 'Climb Completed', be turned off? I'm not a simpleton and find such notifications unnecessary.
