Device disconnected/connected notification

Everytime 840 Edge goes to sleep/poweroff it sends phone notification about the device being lost and suggesting to use "last known position" function to find it. After its turned on it sends another notification about sounding an alarm if I cant find it. Idea is great but implementation makes it useless and annoying.

I had a nice chat with support and there is a possible fix. Problem is on Samsung side, by default their system controls notification categories.
To change it you have to go to Settings/notifications/advancedsettings…

Mine doesn't do that. I believe that can be turned on/off in the device settings on the Connect phone app. IIRC, the Edge must be on and connected to the phone to access and change the settings.

I cant find any such setting and I didnt change any. Are you using Android?

To change it you have to go to Settings/notifications/advancedsettings and check the last toggle about app control for notification categories.
Then do Disabling Device Connectivity Alert described here. I cant test it right now, but it looks promising.
