Route Calculation Error

I have just purchased another 840 and when I go to navigation and search for "convenience stores" or "bike shops" I get route calculation error

I have tried reinstalling maps

This is my 3rd 840 so I am about to give up

Any thoughts???

I can't help, other than to say that I'm not able to replicate that problem on my 840.

Just to let you know you're not crazy... I get this error too.

Similar to your scenario, I searched for a train station and got the same error. It's a pain because it takes resets the search. The only fix I have found is to search instead for something nearby.
