Edge 840 date anomaly

I recorded and saved my cycle ride on my Edge 840 as per normal but the date recorded indicated one week previous. My data now states I did 2 rides on 19 October when in fact I did one ride on 19th and one on 25th. I did a small ride on 26th and that recorded accurately as per normal. Very odd. 

Is there anyway to manually fix this so my rides are accurate? Thank you.

    Get the fit file for the activity with the incorrect date and go here: https://www.fitfiletools.com/#/top for a tool to fix the date.

    Delete the activity which has incorrect date from the online platform and upload the corrected activity file.

    Thank you. Unfortunately, the 'date' tools at the website did not solve the problem. And then this weekend my ride did not automatically synch with Strava - first time in a year of  weekly riding. I managed to use Garmin Express on my Mac (though that too crashed often and is an issue flagged in these forums) and synced to Garmin Connect website. Thereafter I uploaded  the fit file to Strava. 

    I will do a complete restart of my Garmin and set it up as a new device and link to iPhone and Strava again.
