Hi! I've had Edge 840 since the beginning of May. And during my bike ride yesterday, I saw something I had never seen before. The road is marked in red and with a red dotted line. I thought it referred to roadworks/closures, as there were asphalting works in two places where the road was marked with this color
. 
I am surprised no-one has answered this yet.
These are "High Traffic Roads (HTR)" If you swipe up from the bottom of the map screen you open the map tray which includes switches for the various map overlays including HTR. Many users say the aren't much use as some areas have almost nothing but HTR even though they don't really have much traffic?
ps and it misses the really super heavy traffic roads…like motorways?
