Edge 840 speed issue with e-bike

Hi there! Sometimes when riding my Specialized turbo levo the speed indication in the edge 840 freezes at some value (usually around 25 Km/h) and unless I switch the e-bike off and back on it won´t get real speed readings again. If unnoticed, the edge will add ghost distance to the track, today it added 20 extra Km to my ride. The specialized app in my phone uses the same sensors (via bluetooth) and it gets accurate speed and distance readings. Has anyone notticed this issue? Both Edge and ebike are updated to the last SW and FW versions.

    Yeah, I use the Garmin with my two bikes and the tacx trainer, so I have several sensors plus the HRM. Perhaps the solution is to remove and re pair sensors depending on what bike I'm usin that day

    i dont think so, it must work with multiple bikes and sensor flawlessly (in my case it works). perhaps there was some glitch in one of the xml files in the Edge, and now with the all removing and repairing it is fixed.

    Well, I went out for a ride today and the speed worked perfectly again. This time the one that got stuck was the hearth rate reading... The interesting thing is that I have the HRM connected to the edge via ant+ and to my suunto watch via Bluetooth (it's a Coros HRM arm band), and when the reading was stuck in the Garmin , it was working fine in the watch, so I'm starting to think that there's an issue with the ant+ comms in my edge
