My Edge 840 is stucked with FW 24.56 and wont update

My Edge 840 is stuck with FW 24.56. The device says, there is no update available. Is this normal? How can I update to the more recent FW version? Thanks

Hey I had the same, after rebooting (hold button, then shut down entirely! not standby) the device a couple of times it showed the message right after booting. I tinkered with it for about 30 minutes even tried it using garmin express. Not sure what led to the message suddenly appearing. Also make sure it has enough charge. Mine was around 50%

Finally logging to another wifi helped.
