how to turn off auto cycling of screens

Just purchased an 840, there is a change after the latest software update. On Rides the 840 keeps switching betwen the screens. how do i turn that off.

RTFM: Using Auto Scroll

You can use the Auto Scroll feature to automatically cycle through all of the training data screens while the timer is running.

1 Select > Activity Profiles.

2 Select a profile.

3 Select Data Screens > > Auto Scroll.

4 Select a display speed

While Martin is correct Garmin have hidden the option a little.

After selecting "Data Screens" you have to select the "3 vertical dots" at the top-right of the Data Screens screen title, this then displays the hidden "Auto Scroll" option which you want to turn "Off"

The "manuals" have always (15 years) been lacking in detail, explanations and many features entirely

Thanks for this additional info. And indeed: manuals seldom or not are updated (and older versions removed from the net) in case of later FW updates. AFAIK, there has never been a FW version number on the 'cover' of these manuals....
