Edge 840 and Fenix 7 - doesn't sum up calories?

Hello,

Tell me please what am I doing something wrong because after my ride with Egde 840 the calories are not sumed up in the daily amount on my watch.
Is that normal or am I missing something?

During the ride I wear my watch but I record activity only on Edge - perhaps that's the problem?

I would be greateful for any help and suggestions

    So I think I have found th solution myself.

    There are two options:
    - record activity on both devices and then at the end of ride save the activity only on one of them\
    - leave your watch at home and use only one device eg. edge)

    It is not what I expected but I guess there are no other solution right now

    Is the total amount correct in the Garmin Connect app? I have fenix6 and Edge840 (Main device for activity) and all Is correct.

    Stesso problema con Fenix 8 shappire e Edge 840...finisci un giro in bici da 2000kcal rilevate con fascia cardio potenziometro  ed Edge 840 e GC segna SOLO le kcal del Fenix! Mi sembra quasi impossibile che ancora non abbiamo sistemato questo che pare sia un problema che va avanti da tempo!

    Paradossalmente con l 830 e il Fenix 6 pro non c'era questo problema

    Same problem with Fenix ​​​​8 shappire and Edge 840 ... finish a bike ride with 2000kcal detected with heart rate monitor and Edge 840 and GC ONLY marks the kcal of the Fenix! It seems almost impossible to me that we still haven't fixed this that seems to be a problem that has been going on for some time!
