no gps anymore - Update 26.16 on Edge 840

Checked in the versions: it shows gps version 0.0

Syncing your device with a computer and Garmin Express should download GPS firmware and resolve GPS version 0.00: Syncing with Garmin Express
If it does not, you may try installing the latest beta. A full system update like this is expected to restore any missing (GPS) software versions: Enrolling in and Learning About Garmin Beta Software Program

I've tried both without success - and Garmin support was kind enough to offer me a replacement.

For anyone else who comes across this issue, try the following: From the Edge 840, go into System... About... then click "Reinstall Bundle 26.17" 

Sputt if you are seeing a "reinstall" option, your 26.17 update may have been interrupted or not applied.

There is not always a "reinstall" option available, but any new update (that is successfully installed) is expected to restore GPS firmware.

Thanks for the reply, I assumed update 26.16 stopped the GPS working, but I can see in about software version says '26.16' side loaded, so was probably the 26.17 update that stopped GPS working. Reinstall Bundle did not seem to update to 26.17 but it did get my GPS working again. I emailed Garmin support over the weekend but still waiting on a reply.
