No sync of activities after ride

My previous post is closed but the problem is still there.

No sync of activities after a ride. I have to open the connect app on my smartphone, open devices, select the edge 840 device and start syncing with a click on the icon right top corner.

SW on the edge 840 is 25.25

I've tried to power off/on device and it worked after restart. But I can't say how consistent this solution is

Same here. After a power off/on it works for 2-4 activities. And then the same not-sync-issue happen again.

Last three rides it uploaded automatically as it should. It hadn't been doing that for a while. AFAIK, nothing changed between now and then.

Is a fix planned? Is the Garmin team aware of the issue? I'm tired of reloading my Edge after rides to sync.

FWIW: Mine has continued to upload automatically since my previous post. There was one instance where I needed to force a sync using Connect on my phone, but other than that, it has been automatic.
