What a *** is the update to 25.25?

What a *** is the update to 25.25? My new 840 doesn't work with my mac osx15.2. Garmin Express didn't find it. No Chance to make updates or new cards. Garmin Express is version 7.24.0.0. The next problem - where ist 32 GB Space? I didn´t get Europe Card on the device and no Trailforks Card is there. So much money for this device ?????????

Yes, I have edge 840. Install Garmin BaseCamp on your PC and plug your device on PC. Run BC and wait a few minutes. On the left side of the window you can see what maps are on your device ( and name for that file ) . Then find that file on your device and delete it ( or make backup ). If you don"t need Garmin Cycle map America, delete it.

I installed BC and removed all maps beforehand with Garmin Express. In Garmin Express I can see the memory usage at the bottom with about half of it in green with the name Other. Is that correct? In BC I then only have the Trailforks IMG file d7557130a. And BC says 16.2GB of 28.9 GB available. Is that correct?

With OpenMTP I see the following files in the root:

The maps got a great deal bigger when Garmin added the extra data required for the climbing data to be available for everywhere, even when not riding a course. Not sure if the 830 supports that - it probably doesn't as it's a feature they added since the 840 was released.

Thanks, but this information doesn't help me, sorry. GregatheBoss has already written above that he has all 3 European maps on the Edge 840. It would help if someone could tell me something about the other memory in the device. Is it correct if I have only loaded Trailforks that only 16GB are still free?

Good Morning everyone and thanks ! After 5 or Mails and Chats with Garmin Support now the answer - something wrong with the internal ram and the edge is changed over garmin.

just change the possibility of access, it is not normal and not practical that we can only use one application at a time, let's return to the possibility that we have had so far with ALL Edges, also some applications no longer work at all, even solo (among others and for example Loadmytracks, I know there are other methods, but I like this way!)
