Connect IQ Data Fields Profile Screens Have to be re-added before every ride??

I am a new Garmin user and have watched every video and read every article I can find and added 2 Connect IQ data fields to a screen to my brand new 840 (WindField and MyBikeRadarTraffic) but when starting a ride both fields, and only these 2 fields only display the Connect IQ logo and never any data.

Every time I have to edit the screen and re-add both data fields before they work, is this expected or normal or am I doing something wrong? I have confirmed that my 840 is up to date on firmware updates.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated...

What version are you on? I had this problem with older firmware, but don't recall it happening with the firmware v24.x

Try removing one of 2 fields, and also remove any other IQ fields from any other data screens you have. There's some limitaiton in number of working IQ fields during activity,

In my case, it was just a random thing that happened, even with 1-2 third-party fields.

But interestingly enough, both of the fields the OP mentioned (WindField and MyBikeRadarTraffic) are ones I also use. Maybe one or both are buggy? This problem did go away, or at least hasn't come up again, since v24.x.

Thanks, I tried that a couple weeks ago, didn't help right away but seems to be working now, IDK
