24.19 does not connect to WiFi anymore

24.19 does not connect to WiFi anymore. Wi-Fi is working on all other devices in the house. Edge is recognizing Wi-Fi network, but neither "Remove” nor  “Update Password” nor device restart establish actual connection (as in eg check for system update leads to Wi-Fi error message).

  • Same problem here. Before this update edge connects to WIFI fast and last training uploaded my connect and strava very fast. Now I have to wait long time to upload training with BT.

If I remove my wifi and add new wifi sync works, but only that one time. After next training it is same than before, won`t sync with WIFI.

  • Add on info, I have edge 1040

  • My 840 says sync failed via wifi,  though the ride appears on Garmin Connect.

    Must be a bug.

  • I reset my device to defaults. WiFi seems more consistent now.  So lame!

  •  After updating to 24.19 my Edge840 has out of work Bluetooth and Wifi.

Deleting device from Garmin Connect, resetting it to default has no results - device is not located via Bluetooth by phone or laptop.

The same with WiFi - after removing WiFi network from device or resetting to default the only way to add network again - do it from Garmin Express on my laptop (USB connected). Nevertheless added network seems to be out of work - WiFi syncing is failed.

Is there any solution? My problem starts after 24.19 update.

  • I still have an 830 unit despite now using the 840, but both are connected to same wifi.
Only 840 fails to sync properly via wifi. Using BT connection in GC (android) all ok

  • Same issue for me, Wifi Sync wont work
