Edge 840 keeps restarting after adding to Garmin Express

Since there were some discussions around that, which are locked, I reopen. Because as a solution it was mentioned to reset the device, but how to reset since it keeps restarting? 

Superboring situation I have to say Garmin.

    OK, hard reset by hitting LAP and START/STOP Button on the right time (you have to try several Times to catch the correct second whilst device is in reboot circle) did the job. Please Garmin, count me out for such experiences ....
