Can someone please share the map file?

Hi,

On my Edge 840 firmware v.21.18 I have an error during start "failed to get basemap version" as I read this mean that map file gmapbmap.img is missing.
Can someone please share this file with me from their edge 840?

Use Garmin Express and DL gmapbmap.

I did, I mean I have unchecked all installed EU maps, and then installed again, but he problem remains.

I have the same problem. I put a support ticket in and they said the only solution to fix it right now is to join the Beta program. I don't think I should have to join a beta program just to get this error message to go away. Brand new unit for me, and I'm on same firmware version of 21.18

I also opened a ticket, and the support answered me that the device must be replaced - what?
Other than that, my device works OK, maybe this error just causes maps to display wrong, I do not know.

I don't think I had this error before, so some map update or firmware caused it.
