Disable cycleways on the 840 navigation

Hello! 

I am wondering if there is a chance to disable 840 to track on cycleways. So often those are not really clean or really cyclable on a road bike. 

Anyone already faced this need and solved? 

Any suggestions or feedback?

    I have no experience of the 840, but on all my "Edge's" I set my mode of transport as "Car/Motorcycle" instead of "Bicycle" and that stops it. Also be careful when creating routes not to allow it to plan the route on paths etc.
