How to turn off sound for turn-by-turn navigation only?

Hi all,

I've seen some related posts, but they never seem to answer my question.

How can one switch off the sound that occurs before every turn when using a route/course (and thus turn-by-turn navigation)?

My Edge 820 had that possibility, so to leave on system sounds (startup, pause, and so on), but the 840 seems not to have that option, which is strange?

Even more so with the possible danger warnings (turns, vehicles, busy crossing or the new upcoming update's danger warnings) that are now silenced.

Can someone or Garmin staff solve this?

    I agree with this question and I would like to add more suggestion to sounds.

    Turn-by turn option to switch on off sound while system sound are ON.

    Add sound "long rinnging sound" for incoming calls and different sound for text message, idealy confirgurationable in menu.

    garmin has a lot of sounds and it sound all the same so after while you stop pay attentiont to them, turn-by-turn, interval trinaing (ok little bit different here), call,message,calendar, varia radar sound ect. all the same beep.

    Onoe more thing for turn by turn , I have switched off danger turn sound notification but it always show and sound on Edge 840
