Daily Suggested Workouts different between Edge 840 and FR965 despite same input data

I am wondering if there are any plans in upcoming updates to add the DSW to Physio TrueUp or at least be able to select a dominant device for DSW? I upgraded to the Edge 840 recently assumuing the DSWs from my FR965 and the new computer would be in sync given they both have exactly the same Training Status inputs via Physio TrueUp. Unfortunately ths is not the case.

I understand that DSWs are handled on device but if they're both using the same programming, how with identical inputs (Traning data and primary event goal) are they coming to wildely different suggestions?

Can someone from Garmin please provide some insight? Thanks

agreed with you, I don'T understand why the daily suggestion is different doesn't make sense for me.

I have the same thought.

Sync my FR955 and 840 and both show different DWS for cycling. In some instance they are similar though they are not the same.

For the time being, I think I'd rather use my FR955 suggestions as it gathers HRV, sleep data etc.

Still, that makes using a FR955 DSW on the 840 a pain as they are not in sync.

This seems like an oversight.... FYI, 955 is set to my primary device in Garmin connect.

Funny thing

Last week end i sold my edge 840 (going back to wahoo) so i record my ride with my 265, since Tuesday my 265 propose my recovery 30 minutes ride. No clue if there is a link. All my vitals are fine, based on interval icu i am fresh
