Edge 830 HR data not showing in at a glance. But it is in the ride data in garmin app. What gives

All the heart rate data from my chest strap is in the garmin data. From the edge device imported into the app.

So I have HR data.

But At a glance says I need to connect a HR monitor to see HR data. What gives?

Viewing heart rate data in the Glance would require the use of an HRM that stores its own data and can be synced directly to GC, eg a Garmin watch or HRM Pro. Plain HR monitors just send real time data to the Edge which will only be visible in the activity file.
