The Edge 840 solar continuous battery drain even when it's completely off and GroupRide Code Issue

The battery on my edge 840 solar keeps draining even when it's completely off. NOT SLEEP I put it to power saving mode and that didn't do much. i turned off all sensors and GPS and still draining

The unit can't generate a code who's having that issue?

Yes It's completely off I turn it off manually I don't put my devices on sleep

Forgive me for asking the obvious question, but are you sure you powered the unit off, rather than putting it in sleep mode? I only ask because I recently upgraded from a 520 Plus -- which doesn't have a sleep mode -- and I was caught off guard at having to deliberately shut the unit off when I finished a ride.
