Screen not sleeping during rides

The screen does not sleep while riding. My 830 screen sleeps after 15sec. I have auto sleep turned on for the only 1 profile. I have battery saver turned on.

How do I get the 840 to sleep during rides?

The screen sleep feature is unique to the 830. The 840 has battery saver mode which changes the screen backlight from bright to dim but not off.

Thanks for the info. That sucks. I don't like it being on while I'm riding. Its there any way to turn the screen off during a ride?. Even manually?

No there is not. I dont know why they would not bring this feature forward kind of disappointing. Does anybody know if the wahoo has screen sleep battery saver? Man the 830 I think is better...

Thanks. I agree silly it wasn't bright along. Simple feature. Most likely a way to make you but new one sooner, since the battery will go bad faster.
