edge 840 navigate to address

I have a new Garmin 840 Solar. How can you navigate to a manual entered address? There are lot's of POI's but how to enter an address?

Hi, The issue is now solved. I contacted Garmin Support in The Netherlands. They advised me to reinstall the MAP by using in Garmin Express. Now Addresses and Intersections are available as a seacht tool…

Garmin Edge 830: Navigatie gebruiken (youtube.com) In the 830. options as Intersection and Address are available. But on the 840 they left these two options out. :-(

UI is misleading, but the Search Tools is also an option that you can select, although it looks like a header or something. Try selecting it and you'll find what you're looking for.

You need to go to Navigation, Search and then select Search Tools. Addresses and Intersections are available there.

Many thanks for your answer but unfortunately these two options are unavailable. There are lots of options like bikeshop repair, water stops , community etc. But no manual Address....

I'm seeing the same problem with no address or intersections to select. Chatted with Garmin Supportand was told to reinstall details map. After installing there's no different.

I am regretting dumping out my Wahoo. If I can asked for a refund I will immediately. No address and intersections to select.

Do you mean that you have the address and intersections added to your dropdown list?

I give up using addresses and intersections. I use coordinates instead and it's pretty neat.
