Hi, The issue is now solved. I contacted Garmin Support in The Netherlands. They advised me to reinstall the MAP by using in Garmin Express. Now Addresses and Intersections are available as a seacht tool…
Garmin Edge 830: Navigatie gebruiken (youtube.com) In the 830. options as Intersection and Address are available. But on the 840 they left these two options out. :-(
UI is misleading, but the Search Tools is also an option that you can select, although it looks like a header or something. Try selecting it and you'll find what you're looking for.
Many thanks for your answer but unfortunately these two options are unavailable. There are lots of options like bikeshop repair, water stops , community etc. But no manual Address....
