edge 840 navigate to address

I have a new Garmin 840 Solar. How can you navigate to a manual entered address? There are lot's of POI's but how to enter an address?

Hi, The issue is now solved. I contacted Garmin Support in The Netherlands. They advised me to reinstall the MAP by using in Garmin Express. Now Addresses and Intersections are available as a seacht tool…

Garmin Edge 830: Navigatie gebruiken (youtube.com) In the 830. options as Intersection and Address are available. But on the 840 they left these two options out. :-(

UI is misleading, but the Search Tools is also an option that you can select, although it looks like a header or something. Try selecting it and you'll find what you're looking for.

When I got the 840 solar, thec2 options were absent. But after downloading and installed a handful of maps and updates, strangely these 2 options appeared.

Unfortunately I still can't use them b'cos I'm always prompted to enter state or country. Tried many times and failed. Since, I rely on coordinates.

That's what I did too and issue was rectified but came new problem. I'm prompted to enter state or country and I never succeeded.
