Unfortunately the method above won't work.
So far the only workaround is to log out Spotify account and log in again.
The other method is to reinstall Spotify.
Both methods after disconnect the track…
Stopping connect and Spotify and relaunch only works on first song. If I skip to next song, title remains the same.
I am having the same issue with my Instinct 2s. The above suggestion does not fix the issue. It started a few days ago after the most recent software update.
Hi, I have a Nokia G60. If someone could help me with my issue below will be appreciated. TIA.
The music controller works on my Garmin instinct 2 Solar but has stopped showing the track title on the watch. The track appears blank. It use to show the track name but has recenlty stopped appearing.
Steps I have tried:
-Rebooted both watch and phone
-Uninstalled and reinstalled both music app (Musicolet) and Garmin connect app
-Made sure mobile phone is updated to latest software
-Reset the watch (Garmin Instinct 2 Solar)
-Made sure all permissions and notifications are allowed in both music app and Garmin Connect app
-Checked the battery settings is not optimised for both apps
-I have tried using a different music player app which still does not display track name on watch
-Made sure both garmin connect app and music app is open and running
-Force stopped apps
Still not showing track name. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.
I'm having the same problem with a vivoactive 4
Checked all the battery permissions etc and it doesn't fix the problem. Used to work fine and given the number of people with different devices have this problem in the last 2 weeks suggests something must've gone wrong in garmin's side recently to cause it
