20.19 - Music Control - Song title/ Artist wont change after playing next or previous tracks

what kind of music provider are you using? what kind of phone do you have?

try force closing the spotify and connect app like this: 

 Then re-launch the connect app and make sure the edge is connected, then re-launch spotify and try. 

Stopping connect and Spotify and relaunch only works on first song. If I skip to next song, title remains the same.

Unfortunately the method above won't work.

So far the only workaround is to log out Spotify account and log in again.

The other method is to reinstall Spotify.

Both methods after disconnect the track title will be stuck again.

I guess gotta wat for another update to see if there is any fix

Remote Spotify and reinstall didn't solve the issue. Song titles were back after reinstall, but few hours later stuck again.

Now I removed connect and Spotify and reinstalled both. It's working so far but we'll see by the end of the day.

A few hours later, track title again not displayed.

This issue is on my Edge 840 and Fenix 7. So I doubt it's device related. Seems something in Spotify or Connect. As shutting these two down, partially solves the issue.

Clearing personal data/files from Spotify also temporarily solves the issue.

I'm using a pixel 7 pro on Android 14
