Edge 840 Sw 19.22 missing navigate to start

Girlfriend has an 840 and I have a 1040. We both enter the same course and the 1040 gets a pop up to Navigate to the beginning of the course and the 840 gets nothing. Anyone know of a fix or is it a software Garminism glitch?

I have 840 and still get the popup. I suggest checking the navigation settings.

Check that Turn Guidance is enabled under the navigation options and also that you have a GPS lock before trying to start the course.

Navigation -> Courses -> 3 dot menu top right -> Turn Guidance = On

Thank you. Fixed the problem. Not sure why it is so hard to navigate the Garmin menus. Who would think to check the 3 dots and not find it under settings. Thanks again.
