Cannot view the climbs of the cycling in Garmin connect APP using 840's navigation mode

When I use navigation mode and select a Course to ride, after the ride I can't view the climbs for this ride in the Garmin connect app as well as the edge840;

When I ride normally with navigation mode off, at the end of the ride I can view all the climbs of the ride in the Garming connect app as well as the edge 840;

What's going on here?

Yes, in garmin connect web page, also can't view the climbs for the ride with navigation mode

Could it be, that when you ride with a track, you deviated from it at some point, and then came back to the track?
I had it once, all the climbs before the off course moment weren't saved, I think it's a bug in edge's OS

yes, I deviated from the track and then came back to it, but the whole line's climbs weren't save.
I'll do some test today.

Today, I completely followed the course , but only one climb was displayed. The course I planned had at least two to three climbs. I think this is a bug

you can see the climbs on the elevation profile of the course. the small dots over the peaks
