No fit files on the device

Hi,

I did a two rides with new device, I cannot anywhere on the device locate fit files for this ride, Activities folder is empty - why? Firmware is the latest.

Fixed in build 7.18.1 that was just released today.

Garmin support told me that edge do not anymore store .fit files it automatically upload to Garmin Connect and move to Summary folder. Could you check your devices if you have .fit files in Activities folder?

As I can see the problem is with the newest 7.18.0 garmin express, it delete all activity files from the device after sync, does anyone have the same?

OK, I have sent Garmin folder without mapping and SQL folder which is huge (8.2GB).

Kinda funny, but my 840 was acting weird (aka, as usual for Garmin Edge products) and somebody suggested I delete some activity files because the memory might be full and causing issues. I said that's unlikely as I've only had it a few months so there shouldn't be that many activities, plus it has a lot of memory compared to earlier devices. I checked anyway, and there were only three when there should have been over 50. They were the most recent ones done since the last time I connected the 840 to Express. Anyway....too many activities on my 840 wasn't the issue, evidently.
