My bikes are stored in a separate outbuilding that is just on the limit of ANT+ range.
If I bring my Edge indoors and want to adjust configuration I get frequent (by which I mean constant) pop-ups saying the lights on my bike have connected/disconnected (sometimes at the same time, "Radar Connected" at the top of the screen and "Taillight is disconnected from the network" at the bottom - it's the same light!).
This can make the unit unusable until I finally manage to get into the menus (in the brief gaps between the pop-ups) to disable the lights and the radar sensor. I then have to remember to go back and re-enable them before my next ride.
As it is, it's a right pain. I believe there should be minimum time, of maybe 30 seconds before repeated pop-ups and/or for the unit mute a message that is tapped so it does not re-appear for a period of time.
