I'll start with a bit of the background related to the subject. I'm following a Garmin training plan for a metric century and I forgot my heart rate monitor at home so I decided to start the training on my watch (Fenix 7 FW 13.22) and connected to the Edge (FW 9.29) in extended display mode.
The problem occurred when the workout advanced to the next step, each time the Edge 840 reset itself. After each reset the training displayed on screen as if nothing happened except for an extra pop-up telling me that the Edge was on extended display mode.
Did any of you encountered this and have you found a solution? It's not something that I use often but it might happen again.
