Garmin 840 non solar restarting during reroute.

Hi,

My garmin restarted 3 times during an hour ride, twice when it had to reroute and once when the route ended, it recovered the ride after the restart so thankfully nothing was lost but this really fustrating. I'm on the latest version of the firmware too.

Thanks, I've read both but there doesnt seem to be a solution to the issue.

Did you import your profile from old device? I solved with a factory default and editing profiles from scratch...

I was bitten by this today.

Of note: I did a hard reset of the device yesterday, did NOT import profiles, though I did import old sensors.

I am having a similar experience when riding routes downloaded from GCM. Regularly crashes on recalculation when off route.
