Font size for direction field

Hi all, is someone using direction data field in their activity profile?

The letters showing the heading (N, NE, E...) are wrong size and looks to be 1/2 size smaller than the rest of the text on the display - anybody noticed the same?

How can I report this as a bug?

  • Possible typo from my side - I did not mean half size smaller font, but 1 or 2 sizes/point, so quite visible difference then the rest of the fields.

  • If I open support web page, it just offers some topics and few answers for each - there is no link/page that I can find that says something like "report a bug" or "ask for a feature" which is what I need.

    You know, like Bugzilla.

Most I can see is 'Call us' or 'Chat' which is silly as I don't want to sit online with some bot trying to explain the bug and actually making it somehow send the bug report to developers of the firmware so they can fix it in the next firmware version.

For that, you need real people looking at bug reports with screenshots, copy of error, info etc.

Therefore, I still do not see how to report a bug...

  • I don't want to sit online with some bot

My experience is you'll be in contact with a real person. At least that is the case here in the United States. I've done this many times, sending screen shots and videos to describe the issue. Always with resolution and follow-up. The technician will let the engineers know and the fix will end up in the next update.

If you'd rather use email, you can send to [email protected].  Typical response time is 3 to 5 working days. You'll get an email reply with a case number.

This is how bugs and issues get reported and fixed, unless you're running beta firmware.

  • When you follow the support link you are redirected to a regional support page, I assume based on your IP address, not all regions support all forms of communication with support but the “product.support” email address generally works for me even though my region does not officially have the issue reporting via email option on its support web page. Just try to be factual, clear, precise and as you say screen shots can be very helpful

  • Thanks for the answer, that is something I'll try if @seilogramp's suggestion to try chat does not work - I'm in Netherlands and I did not get anything else except 'call us' or 'chat' so it may indeed be region based...
