ClimbPro

Is it possible to change the view from the ClimbPro screen back to your default view while in ClimbPro mode?

On long climbs I would like to not only be able to access the ClimbPro page to view progress but my other metrics like HR and speed.

Yes you can switch between pages while on a climb.

You can also stop the unit switching to the ClimbPro page if you want. It will give you the approach message and the end message, but not switch to the page. This option is under the activity profile, data screens, ClimbPro. Switch page pop off.

Wow. I did not know that I can edit ClimbPro also in the data screen menu. I was always trying to change things in the Climbs menu directly. These convoluted menus..

I would love to switch off the automatic page switching. It is really annoying when trying to navigate and then having to swipe back to the map. But I cannot find the Switch page option you are referring to. When I go to Activity Profile, Data Screens, ClimbPro, I have
1. Cannot remove
2. Show Screen (On|Off)
3. Pop-up on Climb (Approach) (On|Off)
4. Layout and Data Fields

On my Fenix 7 I could just disable Auto Climb and was very happy with Climb Pro otherwise

Great…do you switch between pages using the up/down buttons like you would change pages when not in ClimbPro mode?

On the 840 you can use the up down buttons or screen swiping. The ClimbPro page is just an additional page that gets added to the list of active training pages. You can still move between all the active pages.
