Post ride climb stats missing

This is the second time it happens to me: I rode a course with 4 climbs in total. After the ride, the saved activity was showing only 2 out of 4 climbs on the map, with corresponding stats.

I love this feature (showing proper post ride stats and location on the map for each climb) but I cannot understand why some of the climbs are not properly saved.

I suspect this is a bug associated with changing the course during the ride (I did this in my last ride, but after having completed all the 4 rides...2 were correctly saved, 2 were not).

Am I alone with this issue?

Same here, and since last update it got even worse for me. Now doesn’t even recognise alpine mountain passes. I did notice the same as you, once you deviate from your course for a little bit, it gets worse. Still, I don’t think I had one „correct“ climb summary even when sticking to the route.

Also on my Edge 840, very often climbs are missing in the GC analysis.

i have the same issue. I had 7 climbs on the Edge 840 yesterday but garmin connect app and web show only 4 climbs
