text and call notifications not showing up on new Edge 840

I had a 520 and it worked flawlessly in this regard. A few weeks ago I upgraded to 840. I did not change any settings on my iphone. No notifications. I tried all of the settings adjustments on both the 840 and my iphone. No notifications. Thanks for any insight you can provide.

It is possible that your Edge isn't paired correctly to the Garmin Connect app. Follow the instructions in this FAQ to refresh the connection: Remove and Add a Device From the Garmin Connect App.
