Similar to another user (https://forums.garmin.com/sports-fitness/cycling/f/edge-840-series/330531/not-enough-memory-for-map-update/) I got the new Edge 840 and first thing GARMIN Express tells me when plugged in is to update to latest Trailforks version 2023.10 Okay, but when clicking on it to install a red error message comes up "not enough memory available to install updates" ???
Have latest 9.26 firmware installed. The NA and EU maps are obviously pre-installed along with the 2022 version of Trailforks. But, deleting the NA or EU maps in order to update to latest version of trailforks is not an option here as I travel between NA and Europe often. It's a 28.9GB device with 1.45GB still free out of the box but it won't allow me to update a 158MB trailforks version???
There has to be a solution besides deleting one of the NA or EU maps. Because once you delete the NA or EU maps it will NOT let you re-install them as the Garmin Express says "not enough memory".
Any help/advice?
