Anyone else use both a 1040 and 840 and notice the latter seems to have a much more responsive UI? I bought the 1040 last year and enjoyed it (my first Garmin Edge) but it was overkill for me. Switched to the 840 recently and find the UI much, much snappier - less lag between selecting something and the action executing. I'm wondering if Garmin upgraded the CPU of the x40 series in the last year.
