Garmin 840 No upload ride button for connected iPhone. Where is it?

New 840 Edge. On the 830 and 530 after saving a ride you could bring up the ride in history. There was a button to upload the ride. I synced to ride to the Garmin Connect IOS app.

On my new 840 no button appears and it will not upload a ride to my phone. Now... There is no more button. The ride automatically uploads to Garmin Connect on the computer, Strava and Trainerroad.

My phone and 840 are connected ( paired ) and yes I tried removing and repairing. What am I missing?

I have the same issue since moving from my 530 to my 840 Seems like sometimes it just doesn't upload. I force a sync and it doesn't happen. I can't gind an Upload option. Eventually it will just show up.

I had the same issue with my 840 Solar. I deleted and resynced by Strava account to the 840 and that fixed it for awhile(maybe a few weeks) but but now it's back to only uploading when the 840 is on the network(at home or at my buddy's place). Even if I do a manual sync from my 840 to the Garmin Connect app, it does not sync with Strava and upload my ride. Very annoying and seems to be a bug. IDK.....

same issue here. On Edge 530 no issue. Only way to force upload / do it manually is by using USB-C cable and directly into Garmin and/or Strava
