Maybe a bug? Map screen when navigating missing

I have one of my profiles set to display the map screen when navigating, but when I load a course the map screen isn't added. I have to set the map screen to always on for the profile for it to appear.

Not a huge deal, but I only care about the map if I'm navigating. For an unguided ride I don't need it.

Happened to me today on several different planned rides.

I tried "the usual fix" which has worked on other devices: toggle the map from "always" to "only when navigating" and back. This did not fix the issue.

In one instance, I never got a map, though I did get upcoming turn alerts. In another instance, the map eventually appeared, half an hour into the ride. Really, really odd.

Same issue here. It seems the map cannot be displayed properly when in navigation mode.
