Issue when upgrading from Garmin Cycle Map to TopoActive

Hello

A few weeks ago Garmin Express proposed me to upgrade from Garmin Cycle Map to TopoActive 2025.10 on my Edge 830.

Installation was successful but as soon as I disconnect and reconnect my Edge from the computer Garmin Express suggest to reinstall the TopoActive 2025.10 map! I've done it a few times (25 minutes each) but without any change. Fortunately the device work correctly with the new map: the issue only affect Garmin Express.
I have called Garmin support and the device has been shipped to Garmin France. They made tests and updates but the issue still exist. They also tested with another Edge 830 with same issue.

Do you encountered the same problem?

Same here! I updated 2 times already to 2025.10 via Garmin Express and Garmin Express still proposes TopoActive 2025.10 map update. I simply ignore it since the map seems to be working fine on the Edge.

Most likely typical Garmin quality software.

Yes I have updated multiple times on 2 different PCs but I keep getting prompted to do it again

I don't know if the issue appends only with TopoActive 2025.10 Europe or also with other regions/maps

Happens on my 830 with TopoActive Australia & Oceania 2025.10 map as well... It's a New Zealand unit. Software version 9.81
