Quarq Tyrewiz Not Connecting

Hello All,

Just purchased a mountain bike that came fitted with Quarq Tyrewiz sensors but can’t get the Edge 830 to find them when trying to add them as a sensor!

The Tyrewiz model number is WH-TRWZ-B1.

I fitted fresh batteries and can connect the sensors to the AXS app on my phone with no problems.

Also checked both Edge and Tyrewiz had latest firmware installed.

Any ideas?

Did you install the TyreWiz Connect IQ data field? Pretty sure you need that. I have the SKS Airspy sensors and you can’t connect them directly to the Garmin Edge. You need the ConnectIQ data field. I believe it’s the same for the TyreWiz.

This is a huge help thank you! Got it working thanks to this tip. Can’t seem to always show live data in the Garmin but definitely a huge step forward thanks to your help!
