Can the Edge 830 connect to two power meters at the same time when riding a tandem?

My wife and I are tandem riders. I currently have an 830 and new Favero dual sided power meter pedals. Can the 830 simultaneously connect to a second pair of power meter pedals?

The connection logic only allows one device of any given type to be connected at one time.

I just want to add that the above information is incorrect. You can indeed connect and record two power meters using the same bike computer, such as the Edge 830. You have to use a Garmin Connect IQ data field such as this one: apps.garmin.com/.../70f1aea3-f1d3-47f6-b7aa-23f029a75e3b
