Variable speeds showing on screen despite constant speed on the road. Device even paused as if i have stopped. Any ideas how to fix??

My device is showing variable speeds on the Speed screen also will at the end of a ride be around 10 miles off the total. i have reset the device. but this has not cured it.

any ideas what's needed to fix?? Thanks

If device is paired to a speed sensor then I would check the battery

If not, then the GPS signal is being lost.

Hi Will change the battery. Thanks. Seemed strange as the batteries last a while so for the price of a couple of quid its worth a go. Many Thanks
