Turn by turn directions on subsequent laps of a loop course

Hi all,
I have a course saved on my 830 - it's a closed loop course (start and finish at the same location)
The first time I go round the loop, turn-by-turn directions work fine, BUT...
If I want to do a second (or more) lap, there are no directions.

Is there a setting I have missed that will give me continuous turn-by-turn directions on laps other than the first?

If the created course is a single lap of the loop, Turn Guidance will correctly stop after one lap because the course has been completed. If TG is wanted for x laps then the course needs to be x laps too or the one lap course needs to be reloaded after each lap. There is no need to stop the activity to do that.
